I’m really into just drawing at the moment. Watercolours have been my go to for years and to be honest I find it easy to fudge a drawing by just splodging on some paint.

So I’m going back to basics and am avoiding paint. I’m aiming to use just fountain pen (my fave Pelikan M200) with de Atramentis ink, a Pentel sign pen, a thick calligraphy pen, and two Pentel brush pens (sepia and grey).

Focusing on my line work I shall just add a little tone for shadows. And that’s it. I’m hoping it will help me really look again, to slow down and enjoy the process. The previous post of the bike by the tree was one of the first I did and I loved doing it.

So Inktober here I come. This year I shall be primed and ready.

Oh yes and I’m starting @dannygregory iPad course with @Sketchbookskool in the meantime so we will see where that takes me!
